i've had the pleasure to meet Ashley from The Shine Project a few times and hear about her desire and passion to help at-risk teens reach their true potential.
she cares deeply for these kids, she believes whole-heartedly in her mission, and she is truly out to change the world.
because of Ashley's mission and the start of her non-profit organization, she has helped kids get the money they need to go to college and has taught them to serve and help their community.
she has helped them become better people and make a difference in the lives around them.
the video below highlights the Shine Scholarship Project and shows last year's winners.
i hope you watch it and see how important this organization is to them.
this year, The Shine Project is putting on a Girls Night Out party to help raise money for the 2013 scholarships. i want to invite anyone who is able to attend this fun event to please go so more kids can have the opportunity to attend college and change their lives and the generations to follow.

LOVE this. I want to come play! My roommate's reception is that night but if the times don't conflict I am all over this. Sounds so fun!
Wish I lived close, I'd totally be there!
