Adam didn't have school on Friday so we went on a little family exploration "walk" {that really turned into a mini hike} on a nearby trail.
it was a gooooorrrrggggeeeoussssss day and it felt so nice to be outside!

it was nice to spend a little family time together in the midst of Adam's crazy school schedule and enjoy the beauty that is around us (before it gets too hot to go outside).
i always found the desert to be beautiful and i LOVE the smell of the creosote bushes.
plus it was a wonderful perk that Elijah was in heaven with all the rocks and was able to burn so much energy running around. nap time was a breeze when we got home :)

Looks like a really fun hike and he got to run off some of his energy.

I'm so jealous right now. Besides the fact that our car is in the shop so I already can't go anywhere, it also rains non-stop so we can't even take a walk! Argh! Your pants are so cute! Did you get them somewhere anytime recently or were they an awesome thrift store find?

okay I LOVE the design. Seriously. So so so so good! And that weather looks perfect. I looked. Because I couldn't help it. I'll be in the warm weather in 5 short days!! Ahhh.
Love your new design! It's so cute! I also love your haircut!! And thanks for the warning before looking at your warm weather pictures...haha! Here in Michigan it's been snowing all weekend. On Friday night as I left my husband's hockey game, the weather app on my phone said "7* feels like -4*" BRRR!!

it takes a special heart to appreciate arizona scenery :) and you should never appologize for posting outside pictures during winter because we have to endure everybody's summer pictures while we are indoors trying to avoid the horrid heat!! looks like a wonderful day outside for you guys.
Hiking is our favorite family adventure. I can't wait for warmer weather so we can introduce our foster daughters to the outdoors! Beautiful photos.
