visiting San Francisco when we were dating :) |
i'm going on a date with this guy for the first time since we moved here.
and really for the first time in.... 5 months?
how we have survived without consistent date nights i am not sure.
well, i am sure actually... but it hasn't always been easy.
when Adam and i are able to steal a few moments away together i am reminded of how important it is to constantly be nourishing & cultivating our relationship,
especially in the midst of all the craziness.
and while we have definitely had our own in-home date nights often,
there is something very special & romantic about being intentional about our dates instead of impromptu ones after Elijah goes to sleep.
i'm really excited to reconnect & spend this time reliving our young, wrinkle-free, non-sleep-deprived days.
oh it will be glorious!
oh it will be glorious!
i love that guy!!

Date nights are just the best! Ours are few and far between, so I understand your joy. Glad you got to have a special date together!
Have fun on your date night!!
I don't know how you do it! Well, I guess having a baby is much different. Haha! So cute! I LOVE date nights.

YAY for OUT OF THE HOUSE date night! ;)
Glad you two are going on a "real date". I wish you lived closer so we could take care of that little guy more often and let guys go on more dates. I just caught up on your blog and loved that picture of you and Elijah in the mirror. Thats a keeper. And no matter what you say, you are incredibly beautiful! In fact, how did Adam get such a gorgeous girl anyway?(just kidding, cause I know he is awesome too.)
Sorry, I did it again. This is mom (Leean) not Travis that wrote the above post. Although that post seems very funny coming from Travis.
Date nights are the best ! And SO important. Have fun!!
