Elijah-isms

yesterday while i was making dinner, i cut my finger on a can lid while trying to open it. 

as Adam was getting me a bandaid Elijah comes over and says,
"ooh, momma, you got hurt??"

he then went over to where the can opener was, grabbed it and said, "i open it"
he got on his little tip toes and tried to finish opening the can for me since i got hurt.

when he was done doing what he thought was opening the can he proudly announced,
"i did it!! i good hepper (helper)!!" 

then once Adam put the bandaid on my finger, Elijah said to me,
"i kiss it??" 

absolutely. 

there's nothing i love more than Eli helping me feel better!
